I know.. i know..its been years since my last update, too many things happend and i've been so lazy to update my blog :)

Bryan is 3 years and 7 months now
and guess? he's gonna be BIG BROTHER next february :)

I'm pregnant with number 2...
so the gap age between them is 4 years and 2 months

I'm 12 weeks now..

compare to bryan, this time i feel much headache
but so far no morning sickness too *lucky me*

It's been 12 years...

We're celebrate our 12 years dating anniversary today...
just like last year..no flower...no card...
but we manage to have late dinner and catch up a coffee...
after my our little darling doze off at 7.30 PM :)

20 months

Say chezzzz...

this is what Bryan monkey see-monkey do from his cousin, Naomi. everytime he knows that he want to be capture with camera, he'll put his fingers in his cheek, smile and say cheeezzz...oh and don't forget to "miringin dikit pala-nya" (put his head sideways little bit).

we're going for breakfast with Jason parents last Sunday, Jason is only 1 month younger than Bryan, I know Jason mommy from pregnancy forum Nov-Dec 07- Jan 08, we've regularly meet each others (with other mommies and their toddlers from forum) every month,but since Jason parents also live in kelapa gading area and loves food hunting, last sunday we're decide to hunting new restaurant together. the boys are playing together, take nap together while the parents are gossiping :)

I think toddlers learning faster if they see other toddlers doing something, for example... I've try to teach bryan word "FISH" but he never say it (as you can see there's an aquarium behind Bryan) but, after he heard jason repeat "FISH" so many times and point to an aquarium, suddenly yesterday he said word FISH! WOW! I think FISH is harder to say rather than KUKU, BOBO (sleeping),SUSU (milk), I've try to teach him to call his KUKU almost 2 months now and he still can't say it! and for Jason, he become expert in doing pose cheesseee after see bryan :).

Clueless

I'm clueless.. in finding the best way to teach Bryan discipline, having many people at home make him BIG HEAD!! for example.. If I'm scold him after he makes a mistake, he'll cry out loud to attract everybody attention, when he see someone who approach him when he's cry..he'll cry out even louder just like reporting that he's being scold by me and asking them to hold him, then..after he's in their arms,suddenly he'll stop cry!! but, if there's no one at home when I scold him, he'll not dare to move and will follow me everywhere (mostly he's running around the house and ignore when I said to sit nicely or asking to follow me)

the one who looks like his all time hero is my maid (who usually play and take care of bryan while I'm cooking,bath, or away for a while to market). I already ask her to get away everytime I'm discipline him, but still.. since the maid never scold him, he'll become big head in front of her!

this past few weeks i've notice that Bryan getting emotional attach with her,it's all start when bryan is having a nightmare and trouble sleep during nights, sometimes he can cry out loud while his eyes still close when I try to hold him, he'll refuse, throwing himself back to his box and cry even louder, Jaya and I trying hard to make him stop crying but failed! until my sis in law is knocking on my door and bring my maid inside my room. she's hold bryan in her arms and bryan stop cry right away!! *sigh* don't ask...I'm so jealous that time!

he knows and understand when I said "don't touch or mommy will pat your hands" but mostly he'll still doing it, so I'll ask where's your hand..he'll give his hands to me to pat and after that running away and DO IT AGAIN!! arghh...!! he still put everything into his mouth, still throwing things on floor and can pretend to cry with big drop of tears.

the one thing that makes me bit relieve now is he'll follow my words when we're outside, as long as we're not let him walk in outside..he can sit nicely on his pram, and when we're going to my mom house, he'll not dare to touch anything that I'm not allow him to touch! so everyone who see my little rascal outside always give me compliment! mostly they'll tell that he's a good boy, very calm and obedient (since he can sit nicely on his pram without wailing to get away). *shake head*

I've found this link and the story successfully bring tears to my eyes...and I feel blessed after reading it, we're never know what tomorrow will hold so everyday before I go to bed and after I wake up in the morning.. I start my day with morning prayer for my darling husband to have safe trip as he drive car to work,for my little Bryan, for my parents and brothers.

love your loved one like there's no tomorrow maybe it's not an easy thing to do, there's always an upside down in relationship but..I'm trying hard to do so :)

On daddy birthday

Daddy celebrate birthday today..actually he's turn 30 but we're put 31 according to his chinese age (due of special order from his parents) and we're celebrate it at home together with whole family (read: my in-laws and sis-in laws) we've bought foods from outside and this year, bryan can blow candle with daddy also very kiasu to help daddy cut the cake, he even loves cake too..I bought ice fruit cake and he can finish all one slice :D

and as a surprise..mommy give daddy a cell phone from sony ericsson 510 :)

19 Months

Climbing up

His new skill..climbing up!! now, he can climb by himself to sofa,bed and chair..give mommy more heart attack, so far I don't let him to step up on stair and safety gate in downstairs always close to prevent him to go upstairs unattended.

One and half year

• Barney addicted.
• Walking backward.
• Calling me mama instead of mommy.

• Still limited vocabulary(his latest add are Nai-nai and Jie-jie).
• Full teeth merge.
• Noodles lover.
• Obsessed everytime see car parking(he'll wave his hand and acting like he help to direct way).
• Very active.
• Love to smile and laugh to pretty girl.
• Don't have "jambul" kind of hair anymore.

11 Kgs

Meal times can be so tiring when Bryan is not in the mood, he's quite picky eater nowdays ,he'll throw foods that taste weird, too big or hard to chew (but when it comes to his favorite foods,no matter how big or hard it is, he'll eat it!!) and when he's on strike, I must try hundred ways to make him finished his meal, it's either with prawn crackers, cheerios,his favorite biscuit or cheese! he'll also refuse to sit still in his seat after 4-5 spoon left and I must chasing him around to finished it! arghh...

he's very an active boy, he can't sit nicely more than 1 minutes! he'll keep walking,running and still giving me heart attack to see his silly move, I think that's why he's not gaining much weight since he's 1 year old..his weight is not more than 10,5 kg and it's goes upside down when he's sicked!

many people said he's bit small compare when he was baby,he's taller but his weight is not increase much, I already try to give him more portion when he's eat but it's so hard to make it constantly eat the same portion especially when he's on strike. he can wailing and crying till I give up (most of the time) to get him out from chair.

so, my mom in law decided to feeding him and asking me to out of his sight when he's eating ,since he can't be BIG HEAD in front of his nai-nai and kuku *hahahahaha* and it's work... this cheeky little boy of mine is sit nicely and finished almost twice portion from I used to feed him, everytime he's start to wailing or spit it up, his nai-nai will scold him and he'll chew it again (if I'm the one who scold him, he'll start to cry out loud,refuse to eat again and give me pathetic look to get him out from chair) so,after 2 weeks nai-nai feeding him,he's finally 11 Kgs! :)

My terrible two

I was 2 years-3 months & 8 days when my brother, Victor came in this world and mostly people already forget what happened during that age but I still remember quite well how I made my parents (especially my mommy) out of her temper with my terrible two acts, seriously.. it's bad!!

I'm so jealous with my brother and trying hard to make mommy not love the baby, and this is what I did during my terrible two...crying out my lug just to attract everybody attention (with no reason), put my fingers in mouth in hope of vomit and get attention, broke mommy super expensive channel lipstick (and make it as crayon in wall and face), refuse to eat (it's very hard to make me chew), stamp my feet and many more...!! and what my mom did? sometimes she just doing nothing and let me stop by myself, sometimes she's mad,shout and hit my legs. I think I make her quite suffer in dealing with my terrible two,especially she don't have any nanny to look after me.

And now I just hope that Bryan terrible two phase is not bad as his mommy *kekekekeke* but it's starting already...!!

Self feeding?

okay...I think it's still far from my expectation and still long way to call perfect but at least he's trying :) anyone can share their toddlers experience about self feeding? Bryan is showing interest in holding spoon but sometime he just playing with it and will cry if I try to tell him the right way to spoon feed.

Spicy food

I'm not a pizza lover..i can eat it but not very addicted, i only like chicken fav. pizza and eat 1-2 slice, surprisingly..when i was pregnant with bryan, I love pizza and even bugging jaya to bought it for me, i can eat 3-4 slice and even eat spaghetti too!! we're going to pizza hut for dinner today, and he is eating 1 slice pizza (only the bread..I've remove the toppings) and 4 spoon of spicy spaghetti!

I love spicy foods,when I was pregnant,i eat lots of chili, during breastfeeding I try to take chili sauce a little bit when he was 1,5 months and see how it goes, and apparently he can take it, he's poops normal and there's no rash, that's why I'm dare to take it again but always have limit (not as hot as i used too eat)

I've been noticed it few times, he loves spicy food too..compare to his cousin, naomi who always flame into red if eat bit of spicy food and drink lots water while bryan ask for more!! but he have his own limit of spicy food, not too hot lah..but amazingly he can take nasi padang (traditional Indonesian food and have lots of santan,curry,chili) hehehe...like mother like son! while daddy only shake head.

Showing his love

this is what he's doing everytime we ask him "how to love ..(person name)?", he'll pat that person face gently to show his love and careness :)

Think positive & be blessed

Most of my friends are asking me one same question when they're know that I'm living together with in-laws. "how you handle it?" or "you can tahan meh?" well, I'm not a superwoman yet (and i think i never be one) but I'm trying my best to adapt to family rules, of course it's not an easy task to do, there's lots of struggle along the way, eventough I'm already dating hubby for 10 years and quite understand his family member behavior but still it's not same when I must deal with it every minutes.

There's always two side of coins, the good one and the bad one, I can choose to be grumpy or I can choose to be happy and feel blessed, happiness is a choice and it was us who decided if we want to be happy or no, it just matter of a mindset, for me..living with in laws makes me learning and understanding something that I never thought before, I'm blessed to have this opportunity even there's upside down moments too, i think in this world,there's no such of perfect happily ever after family, built a happy family need lots of effort and struggle too but it was love who always stick on us forever.

I can't imagine how my mom in laws raise 5 children (all of them are 2 years apart) all by herself while she also must cooking for all family members (include her in-laws,sis and bro in laws), and to re-think I think my life is much much better than her, she's maybe "kepo" and fussy but that's all for my own good, I think she's trying to make me a better wife (and close a bit to her daughter in law criteria), every mother only want the best for her son and maybe I also can be like her one day when I think that my daughter in law is not take care of my son properly, and I can also feel sad if one day my son is reject or think that I'm only his burden and decided not to stay with me if he has a family and left me alone, it's part of a circle of life so instead of being complain, I think I should think it positive and be blessed :)

Standing up by himself

I must say that bryan development is slow and bit messed up, he's prefer to walk first instead of crawling (he's master crawling after he master walking),he sit up by himself (without help) when he was 12.5 months (while the other babies master it at 8 months),he's perfectly rolling left-right when he was 8 months and now, he's able to stand up by himself unsupport at 16 months! better be slow than nothing, right?:)
