Recovery times

since bryan and I still in recovery, we're not going anywhere for few days meanwhile my sis in law also got infected with flue so we're all stay at home, resting and playing domino! well,bryan is grounded from going anywhere since he's got fever so sometimes while he's taking nap, jaya is look after him while I sneak out for craving food at tiong bahru market ;)

Bryan's usual stroller

I've bring bryan usual stroller but since it only have 1 position, it makes him hard to sleep in comfort way.. so mostly I should put him to sling when it comes to nap but apparently my ta-ku is lend me her maclaren stroller and her friend also lend another stroller too so, I have 3 stoller and 2 baby (oh, i forgot to mention that naomi,bryan 6 month older cousin also come along for holiday) so mostly naomi use the first stroller in picture but when we're planning travelling with taxi I'll bring my usual stroller since it's easier to fold,so when naomi isn't sleep bryan will take over the stroller to take nap while naomi is using bryan's but it only hapend few times and for the rest..i'm using mclaren stroller, bryan can easily sleep in this stroller and it make me easier since i dont have to hold him in sling ;)

so far, my holiday is great... bryan is being a good boy! it's really beyond my expectation, he's totally in good mood, no wailing or crying, I just put him on stroller and only hold him for a while in sling when he's bored, and when we're travel alone (just me and bryan) he seem to understand when i said "we're going now, but be a good boy, don't ask mommy to hold you, mommy hands kind of busy pushing stroller while you in my sling" and he'll go straight sleep and only wake up when we're almost home, even when he's down for fever, he still can laughing and smiling, he's only not sleep well and wake up few times but get back sleep easily on the night when his temperature reach 39.5 degree.

First time fever

I've got flue and cough last sunday, jaya is already down for cough since 2 days after we're arrived and apparently I've got infection too, the worst part.. bryan is got fever two days ago his temperature is 38.2 in the morning, I'm already give him tempra drop which i bring from jakarta but he still warm, so after 2 times give him tempra and no result of getting better, I try naomi medicine, her doctor gave it when she's having high fever and lucky that her mother bring it (bryan and naomi have same pediatrician) I hardly can't sleep since i'm too busy checking on his temprature every hour and also bryan woke up few times, feeling unwell.. so i must comfort him by tap his body and put his pacifier cause everytime it's felt down he'll awake and search for it,around 3.00 am his temprature up to 39.5 degree, I gave him medicine once more and thanks God, he's temprature back to normal in the morning. but it don't last...in the afternoon he's temperature raise again to 38.5 degree, so i've decided to bring him to doctor at tiong bahru children clinic below tiong bahru plaza.

Dr. Edmund koh, the pediatrician told me that bryan is having sore throat infection (maybe he's infected by me) and the temprature is 38.6 so, he's give bryan capsul in his buttock (yeah, that capsul go inside bryan's butt) he said that if bryan temprature is higher than 38.5 degree then i must give him again that capsul, so i told bryan to fight the infection since i don't want to give it anymore, he also give one antibiotic and few medicine just in case bryan have a nose block or flue. Thanks God, the medicine works very well on Bryan, soon after he's back from doctor his temprature is 37.4 degree and never up again. but, amazingly.. he's still in good mood, still can laugh and smile like nothing happend, he's still easy to take nap, still have a good appetite, still very active boy. Praise Lord for his amazing grace.

First time swimming

Bryan is 10 months old today and as his present,I took him swimming for the first time, there's a swimming pool down our apartment and my brother,Hendri is join us since Jaya still in recovery from his runny nose ;) my little boy is really loves water, he keep smiling,laughing to us and enjoy his time in water. basicly,he's really in a happy mode today and it makes mommy and daddy happy too.

10 Months

• Can move backward quite fast
  
• Still can't crawling
• can circle around using his chest and hands
  
• Very-very active boy
• Can pull himself up but still need my hands to help
• love to stand up and explore things
• if he stand up,sometimes he can walk 1-2 step with my help
  
• still can't sit by himself from lying position
• smile when people smile and laugh when people laugh
  
• can play peek a boo
• Going aboard to Singapore and riding an airplane for the first time
• loves to eat,eat everything that we feed him
  
• Going swimming for the first time and love it!
  
• can do "mata genit", smile and grin...
  

Smooth trip

It's been a quite long day for bryan since we're leaving home early in the morning around 8 am while our flight was at 13.00 pm, we've decided to leave early to avoid a traffic jam and a long queue for check in at airport, while we're waiting for our flight in executive lounge bryan is taking his nap in sling and wake up around 12 to have his lunch (I've prepared Heinz baby food for his lunch)

the flight is on time so after we're enter boarding room, we're straight away going inside and about 5 minutes later, the gate closing and we're ready to take off, i've prepared 6 baby bites and 3 cheddar smoked cheese for bryan in hope he's busy eat and didn't notice the take off, well.. it's quite work out, he's eat and come to surprise he's quite enjoying sound of airplane when it's prepared to take off, he's stunned for a moment and making serious face to listen then he's looking at me and smile..a happy smile!! wow! sort after that he's taking his nap and wake up 10 minutes before we're landing, landing also great, he's seem happy and look over the window when we're arrived. so.. i just hope return flight also this smooth ;)

after we're reach apartment at tiong bahru, nai-nai (my mom-in law has arrived there a day before us) already prepare warm porridge for bryan and his ta-ku (my eldest sis-in law who live in spore and never met bryan before) busy playing and feeding him, so I can relax for a while to take shower and prepare bryan things, sleeping time is also smooth! bryan's sleep around 8.00 pm (7.00pm jakarta time) and only wake 1 time around midnight to have milk and go straight sleep again,he's very tired,i can tell since he's heavily breath with his mouth open wide, so after he's sleeping, jaya is look for him while I went to tiong bahru plaza which is only across from our apartment to have some dinner.

not bad for first day..but, we're still have 2 weeks more here ;)

Holiday wishes

Week a way from our first holiday, exciting and worry.. mommy haven't pack anything yet unless 2 can of Bryan usual milk and 1 pack GOON pampers (I've decided to bring 1 pack only (44 pcs) since pampers price in there is too expensive and they don't sell GOON brand unless I buy it online) I've also prepare some medicine for fever, flu-cough and diare (but I'm HOPING he's FINE during this holiday), Bryan never had serious illness since newborn, during his 9 months he never caught flue-coughing and diare, etc just bit warm when he's got his DPT immunization when he was 4 months old!

I wish Bryan stay quite or sleeping during our flight since it was a full flight and I can't imagine if he's crying out loud for whole trip!! I wish we can get seat in front so there will be more space for me to stand up and hold him in case he's wailing which mean we must arrive at airport early to get best seat (I've check online check in but they don't open in front seat)

I wish Bryan can adjust sleeping in a new place, in this past weeks putting Bryan to sleep and nap is easy, he can easily sleeping using sarong sling or with his stroller, and I'm really hope this will continue during our holiday. he's wake up around 5.30 am, nap at 9.00 am, 1.00 pm, 4.00 pm and bed time around 7.00 pm.

I wish for a good weather so I can take Bryan around without worry about raining (but, I've heard the weather is not too good now) oh.. don't FORGET to bring small UMBRELLA!! I've planning to meet some of my friends there, so I'm really hope that Bryan in his best mood during this holiday.

And the most important thing is I wish that I'm stay healthy during this holiday so I can take care Bryan, but I believe that He'll guide and provide the best thing for Bryan and me so I shall not worry too much. ;)

Months away..

In few months away, I'll go for holiday with Bryan..it would be our first time holiday and first time bryan meeting his ta-ku, ku-chong and Eugenia (jaya oldest sister,husband and daughter) I get excited yet worries at the same time, I'm worry he will cry in plane, I'm worry he will have trouble sleeping in a new place, I'm worry he will wailing or throwing tantrum as long as we are there, I'm worry that he's not eating well since i don't have much time to make him a porridge and other worries that I can't explain one by one here since it too much..i can go on with list.

but I get excited too cause it would be one of our precious moment together, just three of us survive as family without suster help around! with suster help,I can sneak out and have a me time alone moment, pamper my self with massage or going out with jaya. but it doesn't mean that i can't handle bryan alone without her help! she just make it a lot easier for me.

I already send 2 can of his usual formula milk when my parents in law went there last week, but i still work on with "what to bring list" since I'll go there for whole two weeks! and also some question that still not resolved such as : should i bring pampers from here or just buy there? should i bring his potty along? should i buy cereal or some other instant food from here? how many bags i need to bring all bryan things?

well, no matter how hard it looks like, I'm still sure that we'll have a great time there!! there's always be a first time for everything..
